This is a great spot. Especially if you live in Parkland because finding a restaurant with this typical quality is hard to come by in our area. You can tell it’s very popular. I like to go in a restaurant when it’s busy cause you can tell people love it and I love to see people having a great time amongst me while I’m enjoying my meal. I feel like I’m part of a larger group of lucky people. This was our first time at this restaurant. We swung by after Saturday mass. John was our server and he was excellent. Fun and personable, very comfortable in his own skin and happy to share what he thinks are the best things to choose on the menu. He’s very proud of what the chefs are making in the kitchen and he should be. Off the special we got the tuna wontons. This was very tasty. A lot of restaurants make their own variety of this why I like this one better than others was the seasoning and crispness of the wontons was perfect in contrast with the yummy tuna - pure umami! We had the smash burger, the chicken fingers and fries. Chicken fingers were definitely upgraded from what you would see on a kids menu. The breading was not greasy at all, and the chicken flavor was great in contrast with all of the three homemade sauces they give you. The Smashburger was next level, in fact, I’ve been thinking about that all week. The meat and the cheese melt perfectly with the bun. It’s honestly the best burger I’ve had in a very long time. French fries are excellent too. They have some seasoning on it which makes them very tasty. I can’t tell if it’s seasoned salt or bay or whatever it is. Don’t change it! My lovely wife is a sucker for a good cocktail. She got the lychee martini. Which she looks for just about everywhere she goes. She thought it was the best made she’s had in the area so much so that she decided to buy two :) Other things we’re going to try in the future are the biscuits. First time here since it changed! Great TVs! Kim was fantastic at the bar! Great happy hour menu! Refreshing Tito’s dirty martini with blue cheese olive 🫒 just perfect over looking water fountain ! Great tacos on happy hour & Roasted carrots with honey goat cheese delicious! Great addition to Parkland! Bet it’s great for football … so many TVs!
Grand opening of Dear Olivia did not disappoint! We were there for ribbon cutting ceremony and Paul, Olivia and his beautiful family spoke such beautiful and heartfelt words. I wish them all the best. Now to the service, Bianca our beautiful server was amazing. Drinks were delicious and food was spectacular. We Visited Dear Olivia this past Saturday and had a wonderful experience. The brie skillet, reuben egg rolls, burger and Carolina gold pork sandwich were all really good. What really elevated the evening was the hospitality. The manager, an older gentleman with dark hair, stopped by our table to check on us and made us feel genuinely welcomed. That personal touch added to the warm, inviting atmosphere. Great food, attentive service, and a place we’ll definitely return to.
Food, service and ambiance were stellar!!!!!! Best Shrimp & Grits EVER!!!! Honestly, we had such a great experience at Dear Olivia. Our server, John, was great. I recommend this restaurant to everyone, a must visit in Parkland.

Had an amazing birthday dinner at Dear Olivia Bar and Kitchen! With a close friend who came her with me and the food was 🔥 and the new staff that's taken over is doing an incredible job 🙌. Definitely a standout experience from the previous restaurant. Highly recommend!
Ambiance is awesome if you sit outside. It is a sports bar/restaurant with upscale food choices. Drinks are excellent as well. I have had the same waitress twice in a row and she is funny and an excellent server. A great asset to the restaurant.
We visited Dear Olivia for the first time yesterday for lunch. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and sat in the outside tables by the water as per our request. We were quickly greeted by our server Dana who had a big beautiful welcoming smile as she approached our table. Dana was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and even recommended a couple of drinks for us. She kept checking in on us throughout our lunch and made small talk with my daughter who is pregnant. Thank you Dana, it’s people like you that makes meals enjoyable and keeps customers coming back to an establishment again!
First time trying Dear Olivia’s and it did not disappoint. Everything was so yummy and tasty. We started off with the shrimp tacos. I got the Smashburger and my husband got the shrimp and grits. Everything was very good . We sat on the patio and it was on the lake with a nice water fountain . Our serve John was great from finish to start . Being in the restaurant industry it’s always nice getting great service. Thank you and we will see you soon.
